This project explores College Dorm Rooms, and how transformation of dorm rooms can help provide a more holistic experience for the end user (students) which stimulates creativity
reduces stress levels and create an
environment which would improve mental health. Specially in uncertain times of the pandemic and the possibility of having to work from home.
The Design parameters for this proposal look into the psychology of space. It explores how the
built environment affects the moods and emotions of the user. Layering of multiple aspects like color psychology, form and function of the furniture and paying attention to providing privacy.
Compartmentalizing and organizing the clutter is directly proportional
to reducing stress levels and creating this feeling of home.
